This series comprises records generated and compiled by the DWME related to assistance provided to mission work in Korea and general informational issues. The records are from 1971-1987 with the majority dating from 1978-1985. Records include primarily handwritten and typewritten business correspondence, but also background material and proceedings from consultations and conferences, news releases, topical papers, newspaper clippings, and project progress reports. Subject matter includes financial assistance provided by the LCA to Korean media projects, a consultation on reunification, a conference on peace and justice, the Lutheran Church of Korea and general inquiries pertaining to it, justice and peace issues, as well as human rights issues. Files are arranged alphabetically by subject.
